Which photo booth should I rent for my event?

The honest answer is that it depends on the room and the crowd, not on which booth is newest. Weddings usually come down to glam or mirror booths — glam for the black-and-white, skin-softened look that suits a formal reception, mirror for something interactive that guests queue up for. Corporate events and brand activations lean toward digital and 360 booths, because those produce shareable video and can carry event branding, overlays and data capture. Enclosed and vintage booths suit venues where you want the classic strip of prints as a keepsake, and they work well in smaller rooms. If you are choosing between a DSLR booth and a tablet-based one, the difference is image quality under low reception lighting, which matters more than most people expect.

What does a photo booth rental cost?

Wedding photo booth rentals generally run $1,200 to $3,500+, and corporate events and brand activations generally run $1,500 to $5,000+. The spread is real rather than evasive: a four-hour wedding booth with an attendant, custom-designed prints and a scrapbook is a different job from a multi-day trade-show activation with branded overlays, data capture and a roaming operator. What moves the number most is hours on site, how much of the output is custom-designed, whether you want physical prints as well as digital delivery, and travel distance from our base in Elizabethtown. We quote per event rather than publishing fixed packages, because the same booth can be a modest add-on or the centrepiece depending on what you want it doing.

How far ahead should I book a photo booth?

For Saturday weddings in peak season — roughly May through October across Lancaster, Hershey and Harrisburg — the popular booths go first, and couples booking a year out is normal rather than cautious. Corporate events are usually shorter notice and easier to accommodate, though anything landing in November or December competes with holiday party season. If your date is already set, the useful thing is to ask early even if you have not decided which booth you want: holding the date is the constraint, and the booth choice can be settled later. If your date is close, it is still worth asking — we can often cover short-notice events, and we would rather tell you honestly that we are booked than have you assume so.
