Personally, we love nothing better than a good cup of coffee. Providing photo booth rentals in Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, Hershey, and Carlisle puts us on the road a lot, especially on evenings and weekends. A good, strong cup of is always a great treat after a long day of photo booth services on the drive home.
FX Photo Booths has provided photo booth services for Weddings and corporate events throughout central Pennsylvania over the last three years. In that time, we have seen a number interesting event concepts and trends. We often are so busy during events providing photo booth services and having fun with the guests, it often becomes difficult notice all aspects of the event taking place around us.
In all of this time, not once, have we seen a custom or mobile espresso bar, not until Tiffany’s Bridal Boutique Anniversary event in February. Yes, there is typically coffee and tea provided at events and reception, but not custom Espresso type drinks that are made to order.
As coffee lovers, we were certainly intrigued by the concept! Naturally, we had to ask more about it. In speaking with Courtney Rittenour, we quickly learned their business was far more than a mobile Espresso service. As a small, family owned and operated business ourselves, we love small, local, community-based businesses who offer unique services in the local, Lancaster area.
The Courtyard Cafe on Main is located in Denver, Lancaster County. It started as a dream of Courtney’s as a young girl. Courtney would test out recipes on classmates, teachers and family all through high school and always loved being in the kitchen. After going through the Hotel and Restaurant Program at Penn State University and working in a number of hospitality locations, she felt like she was ready to open her own establishment.
In 2012, Courtyard Cafe on Main opened their doors and it’s been a fun journey ever since, according to Courtney! They were also able to double of cafe in size the winter of 2016 which was a huge blessing to Courtney and the business!
The Courtyard Cafe on Main started offering their mobile coffee, tea and espresso bars for weddings and other social events in 2014. As an additional service option for customers and clients, they will bring their Espresso Services to you and “setup shop” at your reception or venue location. This can create a delicious (and adorable) focal point at your reception. Additionally, the Courtyard Cafe on Main can help plan anything from your bridal shower, to your dessert bar, and to your coffee, tea & espresso bar at your wedding! Courtney strives to make each celebration unique and special based on each customer’s needs and interests!
One of Courtney’s favorite activities sitting down with their future brides and grooms to come up with the perfect menu for their Wedding day! For the coffee, tea and espresso bar, clients can choose a “bride” and “groom” specialty drink, as well as, four other specialty drinks for a unique bar menu! Based on the volume of business they do daily, Courtney does recommend scheduling appointments to discuss your event needs and interests.
While there are not many coffee, tea and espresso bars available around this the Lancaster area, Courtyard Cafe on Main will really do strive to make it perfect! They use the highest quality espresso, syrups and milk to make quality beverages, on site and on demand. Always fresh and always hot.
Since 2012, Courtyard Cafe on Main has continued to expand its business. From the original café, to providing Wedding and event services via a mobile Espresso Bar in 2014, to an expanded café in 2016. They continue to grow and look to expand the catering side of their business, while possibly adding a food truck to their services in the near future. Another aspect of Courtyard Cafe on Main’s business we especially love is that all of their food and drinks are locally sourced and made in-house, from scratch, daily. Nothing like fresh and local!
